AWESOME!! Always great to see kids out fishing and I can't wait to turn my boys on to chasing em with a fly rod as well as getting back into it myself.

Welcome to the sport Taylor and those are some dandy fish! Only thing I would like to add is remember your eye protection, you only get one pair of eyes!

This is from this past weekend.

My four year old is already beating me in fishing. Granted some rivers up here you cant help but catch fish, but he is having a blast. Cant wait to take him again tonight.

The pictures of these kids catching fish and smiling ear to ear are precious memories for them and the parents too.Make more memories and make them often-----your little guys grow up way too fast.
My kids are in their 30's and still talk about some of their fishing times. It's so fun to hear them say ''remember the time when I out-fished you at Wynoochee Lake" or "remember the time we all fell in the water at the Satsop River". The good times will stay with you all forever...........

As promised a video. Was taken last night

No real skills but hes four and this is only his third time fly fishing. Poor fish, we are working on teaching him proper landing and release techniques, got him a net last night after fishing. For some reason he thinks that the fish needs to eat a leaf. Im sure that phase will end.

Ill post a couple more pics.

These are from last year and was his first fly fishing experience. He was only 3 at this time, couldn't cast but I could hand him the rod after i hooked a fish. The little one in the front pouch, she was only 4 months old when this pic was taken.

She didn't have a lot to do with bringing this one in, but as soon as it was released, she demanded that she catch another. Her choice of venue is still questionable, but after "catching" two greyling, she told her grandmother she caught 6 or 7 salmon, so she's gonna be just fine. Even at the ripe old age of two.
