Hi guys,

A few months back there was a thread about pot puller davit design. I chimed in that I don't use a davit, and it's worked well ... our puller hangs over the side off a roll-bar-like fabrication that was already on the boat. The puller is attached in such a way that it can swivel 180 degrees, straight forward and straight aft. A photo was requested; I'm sorry I didn't get to it until today. Couldn't find the original post so started a new one.

Forgot to mention - this setup seems to work great in all conditions except the most choppy. I thought the line would jump off the white pulley frequently, but it's fine. I run 1200 ' of line, so there's some slippage before there's tension on the line, but once there's a bit of strain it works very well.
