    Default Western Cook Inlet Question

    Hey guys,

A friend of mine and his cousin are looking to do a day trip, fly out fishing. His cousin, who is coming from out of state, suggested western cook inlet. I don't think they care if it's salmon or trout, just wanting a cool day trip. Anyone have any suggestions other than beluga?

    Thanks,
    Scott

Depending on when they are coming. Now they are doing well at big river lakes for reds and you get to fish with the bears.
If they are coming after july 15th i have a great tent camp set up on the Kustatan river for silvers. Fish Alaska magazine came last year here is the link to the story..

I have spent some time hanging out at Lances camp and fishing. I would give a big thumbs up to fishing with him. The camp is a VERY nice one as far as tent camps go with great fishing!

Thanks guys, they're going within a couple of days of July 10th. I appreciate the suggestions. They're just doing a day trip.

I wish I could go with, but I'm working a long stretch during their trip.
