Default Gorilla Silverback tires in Alaska

Does anyone happen to know if there are any tire shops or atv dealers in Alaska, specifically south central, that stock or sell Gorilla Silverback tires or something very similar?

This doesn't answer your question specifically but I've found this site to be far cheaper than anywhere locally including shipping. Always receive my tires within a week of purchase.

    Happy riding!

Buy your Gorilla Silverbacks from on online store that offers free shipping to the Lower 48. Have them ship to the Carlile Transportation hub in Tacoma, WA, then Carlile will ship them up here for like $96. All you need to do is get a confirmation from the company on how they would ship (pallet, wrapped in plastice, whatever), get size of "package" and estimated weight. Call Carlile give them the specs and they will tell you what the charge would be from Tacome, WA to the hub here in Anchorage. They charge like a flat fee plus fuel surcharge for stuff up to like 250 or 300 lbs and it basically comes out to $96. You give the lower 48 company the address in Tacoma, WA and then Carlile takes it from there. You pay Carlile the $96 when you pick the tires up. There is another thread on here about guys here in AK doing this and I just had a 253 lb inflatbale boat shipped from CA to WA for free then $96 to AK, had it in a week. Pretty simple.

I did a quick search and here are the two links that I was refering to.

One or both of these mention Motorports, which looks like it has a decent in-house shipping charge and PAF is mentioned. When I compared PAF to Carlile, Carlile was cheaper, but you get the idea. Have something shipped for free to a Lower 48 address (PAF or Carlile) and then pay them less than $100 to ship it here.

Hope you have Gorilla axles to handle that aggressive pattern and tread depth!

Can try http://www.atvserver.com/mm5/merchan...egory_Code=GST ASK about shipping to AK

Had a buddy also get a deal (not Gorillas) from Alaska Tire Service when they were a smaller business. Not sure if they would order and piggy back the shipping.

Do post pics of your mounted tires when you get 'em :-)
