Default Go prepared cause nobody else does!

I had a little hickup at Jim creek yesterday. Out of the 20 people I had to flag down only a couple had tools, and those people just had the little kit that comes with their wheelers.

I had a bunch of tools, but not the right spark plug socket. I grabbed the 5/8 one by mistake in the morning.

I was pretty amazed that no one had anything to fix their machines. I was also amazed by the lack of people willing to stop and see if your okay when you are obviously having problems. only 4 people out of 100 stopped. The other people I approached if they got close enough.

Sorry I was one of the ones who didn't have much for tools.... Did you finally get it running or what? Might be time for a snorkel.

Yeah I did. It actually started pretty easy. I had to run it back to the truck without the airfilter though. One more thing to throw in the tool kit. Spare air filter! Next time if Im not sure Im just gonna float it across. Well you at least had the tools for your machine. Most people just had a coors light and meth. Nice Meeting you too Mud. Sorry I didnt B.S. with ya. I was worried I would be late for that wedding! Then my wife and the bride would have killed me.

Whats even worse is more and more manufacturers are deleting tool kits of minimizing them these days! Glad you were able to get your rig back running and out of there.

At this point my two kits are the same I just move them from vehicle to vehicle. When going out on day trips I don't take a kit on the wheeler though. Shame on me!

I've been working on my boat kit as well, some of the tools I now carry are ones I needed and didn't have lucky my partner has been boating long enough to carry most everything needed.

The wife gives me S*** about the amount of tools I carry on my quad. "Oh your never going to need that!!" I love you too honey. I am the go to guy when others peoples quads break down on them while in the bush. Ohhhh you need a 3/8 socket and some electric tape? That will be a case of beer and a tank of gas please.

case makes a filter to keep water outa the hydrolic pumps and they will fit the flanges on the rokon I highly suggest in getting one(or2) They will NOT let it suck water! I actually dropped my rokon in a creek in montana years ago and was quite amazed how long that thing ran clear submerged it the water. I looked thru my stuff and couldn't find a part# so next best thing is to hit rokon world or fillman up. I promise you will eliminate that problem FOREVER
